IRB Infrastructure reported a 10 per cent increase in its toll revenue, reaching Rs 5.54 billion in April, compared to Rs 5.03 billion during the same month last year.

Of the 17 tolls operated by the company, IRB MP Expressway in Maharashtra was the largest contributor, accounting for Rs 1.50 billion of the total revenue in April. This marked an increase from Rs 1.40 billion in April 2024, according to an exchange filing by IRB.

The IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway’s contribution rose to Rs 650.4 million, up from Rs 590.2 million in 2024, the company stated.

The CG Tollway (Chittorgarh to Gulabpura NH 79) contributed Rs 320.7 million, making it the third largest contributor to the revenue in April, which was an increase from Rs 290.7 million the previous year. Udaipur Tollway collected Rs 270.2 million in toll revenue, a rise from Rs 250.5 million a year ago.

Amitabh Murarka, Deputy CEO of the company, noted that the company had concluded FY25 with strong momentum, which carried into April 2025, as reflected in the 10 per cent year-on-year growth in toll revenues. He added that given the overall performance of the Indian economy and the implementation of budgetary provisions, this positive trend was expected to continue into FY26.

IRB is India’s first integrated infrastructure player in the highways segment and the country’s largest private toll roads and highways infrastructure developer, with an asset base of over Rs 800 billion across 12 states.
