L&T wins Mumbai's Dahisar Bhayander bridge project

L&T Construction's Transportation Infrastructure division has been awarded the Dahisar Bhayander Bridge project in Mumbai. This project has been granted by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) and involves the construction of a 4.5 km long bridge connecting Dahisar and Bhayander. The primary aim of this project is to significantly reduce the current travel time between Dahisar and Bhayander, which currently exceeds 45 minutes.

The 4.5 km link will feature two separate carriageways, and a multi-level interchange at both Dahisar and Bhayander, ensuring smooth entry and exit. Moreover, the project will also include the construction of two substantial navigational spans across the creek.

It's worth noting that L&T is already actively engaged in executing two packages of the esteemed Mumbai Coastal Road projects on behalf of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).
