MLA Inaugurates Blacktopping Of Barta Chanunta Bhugtrian Road

The Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ramnagar, Dr Sunil Bhardwaj, inaugurated the blacktopping work on the Barta-Chanunta-Bhugtrian road in the presence of local representatives and a large gathering of residents. The completion of the road was a long pending demand of the public as the surface had remained severely dilapidated for years. Potholes, uneven stretches and poor maintenance had made daily commuting extremely challenging for school going children, elderly residents and employees who rely on this route for their livelihood.\n\nDuring adverse weather the condition regularly worsened, disrupting essential connectivity and posing heightened safety risks for users. The road serves as a key link connecting several prominent villages in the Ramnagar constituency, including Chanunta, Panjgrain, Ghordi, Chowki and Badhole, as well as Ramnagar town and adjoining areas. By strengthening the rural connectivity network the project will play a crucial role in enhancing mobility, boosting local trade and integrating these communities more effectively with the main town.\n\nDr Bhardwaj reiterated his commitment to holistic development and outlined that further infrastructure projects are in the pipeline to improve access and services across the constituency. He emphasised that development at the grassroots remains a top priority and that efforts are under way to ensure that no village is left behind. Residents at the function conveyed their gratitude and acknowledged his continuous engagement in addressing public grievances and upgrading basic infrastructure in the region.\n\nLocal officials will oversee the execution and maintenance to secure the long term benefits of the work while ensuring durable standards are met. The upgraded route is intended to support local economic activity and facilitate smoother access to education and health services for people who depend on it daily.
