Recent funding of Rs 3.26 billion from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will be used to build four roads that will link the villages of Usarghar, Gharivali, Nilje, Ghesar, Kole, Hedootne, Mangaon, and Bhopar in Kalyan Rural.

Dr Shrikant Shinde, MP for Kalyan-Dombivali constituency, routinely followed up with organisations like Zilla Parishad, MMRDA, and PWD department for the overall concretisation of roads in Kalyan rural areas.

For rural roads, a sizable budget has been made available. The government had asked MMRDA for funding at the same time since numerous villages at the gates of Kalyan city needed their roads to be concreted. MMRDA accepted this demand a few days ago and approved funding for road construction. The MMRDA recently made the tender for these projects public. Eight villages, namely Usarghar, Gharivali, Nilje, Ghesar, Kole, Hedutne, Mangaon, and Bhopar, are connected by roadways in this network. The total value of these works is 3.26 billion.
