NHAI Adds Toll Plaza Feedback Feature to Rajmargyatra App
The new Toll Plaza Feedback feature will prompt annual FASTag pass users to respond each time they cross a toll plaza. Other motorists can open the feature in the app to share their experience, rate the service and select options relevant to their journey.
Users can also add remarks to provide additional details about their visit. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) said the facility would create a channel for citizens to report problems and help NHAI identify areas requiring attention at toll plazas.
The ministry said user responses would support monitoring of toll plaza services and efforts to make highway journeys safer, smoother and more convenient. NHAI has encouraged motorists to use the feature so that their concerns can be considered while improving service delivery across its network.
The authority has also continued its Clean Toilet Picture Challenge, which allows people to report unclean toilet facilities at toll plazas by uploading clear, geo-tagged and time-stamped photographs through the app. Each eligible vehicle registration number reporting such an instance receives a reward of Rs. 1,000 as a FASTag recharge.
NHAI said the toilet initiative, along with regular inspections, digital documentation and time-bound corrective action, would strengthen accountability among agencies responsible for maintaining public conveniences. The combined approach is intended to improve toilet facilities and encourage greater public participation in monitoring services along national highways.
