NHAI Inspects Damaged Gujarat Highway After Rain

Venkatraman, Member of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), on Sunday inspected the Bharatmala highway near the Bakutra toll plaza in Santalpur taluka, Patan district, Gujarat. The inspection followed rain-induced damage to a 1.35-km stretch of the road. Samples from the affected section were collected during the visit, according to an official release.
The 135-km-long Bharatmala highway links Sanchor in Rajasthan with Santalpur in Gujarat. The road was recently impacted by heavy rainfall, raising concerns about construction quality.
