The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced plans to enhance a critical 50 km stretch on nine major roads in the city as part of its 'Mission 15 Roads' initiative. This move is aimed at addressing traffic congestion, improving road infrastructure, and ensuring smoother transit across key routes in Pune.

'Mission 15 Roads' is a comprehensive project launched by PMC to revamp some of the city's most congested and deteriorating roads. The current phase focuses on nine essential roads that serve as lifelines for Pune's daily commuters. These roads are vital links connecting various parts of the city, and their improvement is expected to significantly reduce traffic snarls and enhance overall road safety.

The initiative will see the deployment of advanced road construction techniques, including the use of durable materials and modern engineering practices, to ensure that the revamped roads can withstand heavy traffic and weather conditions.
