PNC Infratech has been barred from participating in bids floated by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and their executing agencies for three years following damage to a section of the Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway. The restriction follows NHAI’s decision to extend the debarment of the company’s subsidiary and concessionaire, Awadh Expressway, to the parent company in its capacity as promoter.
