The Shimla district administration has directed the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to halt tunnel construction after cracks appeared in at least seven buildings in the Shanti Vihar residential area of Sanjauli. The buildings are located near a cemetery, where residents have raised concerns about their safety as the cracks continue to widen.
