He also requested the inclusion of the Kalwakurthi to Kolhapur-Somasila-Karivena-Nandyal (NH-167K) road, totaling 142 km, in the National Highway network and called for tendering for its development.
Further requests included upgrading the Hyderabad-Kalwakurthy road (NH-765k) from two lanes to four lanes and declaring the Jagityal-Peddapalli-Manthani-Kataram state highway as a National Highway, with a plea for adequate funding.
Revanth Reddy also sought approval for 12 proposals under the 'Setu Bandhan' scheme for Road Over Bridges (ROBs) and Road Under Bridges (RUBs) submitted by the state government for the fiscal year 2023-24.
