Union Railway Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, accompanied by Labour, Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr Mansukhbhai Mandaviya and Minister of State for Consumer Affairs Smt Nimuben Bambhaniya, visited Aawadkrupa Plastomech Pvt Ltd, a container manufacturing firm based in Bhavnagar district.

Located on the Bhavnagar–Rajkot Road, the facility currently produces around 15 containers per day and has the infrastructure to scale up to 100 units daily. The ministers reviewed the manufacturing processes and technologies employed at the plant, with the Railway Minister assuring full government support to help the company meet rising global container demand.

The visit signals Bhavnagar's emergence as a potential container production hub under the Make in India initiative. The Railway Minister offered guidance and expressed confidence in the region’s growing capabilities in the logistics and industrial sectors.

District Collector Dr Manish Kumar Bansal, District Development Officer Shri Hanul Chaudhary, Regional Commissioner Shri Dhaval Pandya, Superintendent of Police Shri Harshad Patel, and Shri Hasmukhbhai Patel of Aawadkrupa were also present during the visit.
