Bids Issued For Thane Ring Metro Elevated Stations

The Thane Integral Ring Metro Project has received a boost after Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited issued bids for a civil works contract valued at Rs 2.24 billion for the construction of six elevated metro stations.

Under the scope of work, the selected contractor will construct six elevated stations—Dr Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagruha, Manpada, Dongripada, Vijay Nagari, Waghbil and Waterfront—forming a key section of the Thane Integral Ring Metro corridor.

According to tender details, the project has a completion period of 30 months. The bid process includes a pre-bid meeting scheduled for 22 December 2025, with the bid submission deadline set for 22 January 2026.

The Thane Integral Ring Metro, also known as Thane Metro Phase 1, is a 29-kilometre mass rapid transit system planned as a single circular line with 22 stations. The corridor will run along the western periphery of Thane city, aiming to improve urban mobility and reduce road congestion.
