Bids Open for Commercial Spaces at Delhi-Meerut RRTS Stations

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has announced the opening of bids for leasing commercial spaces at various stations along the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS). This move aims to enhance commuter convenience while generating revenue to support the project?s sustainability.

The NCRTC has identified key stations for these commercial spaces, including Sarai Kale Khan, Anand Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. These areas are expected to attract significant footfall due to the strategic locations and the high-speed connectivity provided by the RRTS.

The Delhi-Meerut RRTS is a semi-high-speed rail corridor designed to reduce travel time between Delhi and Meerut to less than an hour. With trains running at a top speed of 180 kmph, the system is poised to revolutionise regional connectivity and alleviate traffic congestion in the National Capital Region.

Interested parties can submit their bids through the NCRTC?s official website. The corporation has set specific criteria for the selection process to ensure that the commercial establishments align with the needs of commuters and enhance the overall travel experience.
