Starting February five, BMTC changed bus stop locations at stations including Trinity where a stop has been placed near the B entrance opposite Hotel Oberoi for passengers travelling from MG Road towards Halasuru, Hoodi near the B entrance opposite D Mart for passengers from Seetharamapalya towards Garudacharpalya, and Manjunathanagar below the station near the A entrance for passengers travelling from Chikkabidarakallu towards Nagasandra. Peenya now has a stop opposite the metro station on the service road for passengers travelling from Goraguntepalya towards Peenya Industrial Area and another below the station near the B entrance for passengers travelling from Peenya Industrial Area towards Goraguntepalya. Lalbagh and South End Circle also received stops next to or before the stations to serve passengers travelling between South End Circle, National College and Jayanagar.
JP Nagar gained two new stops, one opposite the station near the C entrance for passengers travelling from Banashankari towards Yelachenahalli and another below the station near the D entrance for passengers travelling from Yelachenahalli towards Banashankari. Konanakunte Cross and Vajarahalli each received paired stops near the A and B entrances to accommodate passengers travelling between Doddakallasandra and Yelachenahalli and between Thalaghattapura and Doddakallasandra respectively. Thalaghattapura was provided with a stop near the B entrance for passengers travelling from Silk Institute towards Vajarahalli and a further stop below the station near the A entrance for the opposite direction.
For other stations BMTC stops are already available within 100 metres or could not be provided due to space constraints, the BMRCL said. Airport-bound passengers can board or alight Vayu Vajra buses directly at all stations along the route. The authorities will monitor usage and consider further adjustments where feasible.
