Bondada Engineering Limited has secured a major contract from Kernex Microsystems (India) Ltd for the supply and installation of a 40-metre, ground-based, three-legged fully tubular tower for the Southern Railway zone. The work will be executed between Arakkonam and Jolarpettai and includes full foundation construction and associated installation activities.

The order, valued at Rs 105.73 million, covers fabrication and supply of the tower structure, installation of accessories, assembling, erection, painting, earthing, aviation lights, lightning protection systems, a 10 mm cable tray and complete foundation works, including soil testing. The project is scheduled to be completed within six months of the work order.

Bondada Engineering said the award marks its second major contract in the Railways segment, reinforcing its growing presence in the country’s expanding railway infrastructure sector. The company noted that the project supports national modernisation efforts and strengthens its position as a reliable partner for rail infrastructure development.

The contract has been awarded by a domestic entity, carries no promoter-group interest and does not qualify as a related-party transaction.
