Brahmaputra Infrastructure Wins Rs 1,142.4 mn Railway Contract

Brahmaputra Infrastructure Limited has informed the exchange that SB BIL JV, a joint venture in which it participates, has been issued a Letter of Acceptance by North Central Railway, Jhansi Division Gati Shakti Unit on 18 May 2026 for a major civil construction contract. The contract is valued at Rs 1,142.4 million (mn) on conversion from Rs 114.24 crore. The disclosure has been made in compliance with SEBI listing obligations and related circulars.

The scope of work covers construction of two lane road over bridges end to end including approaches in lieu of three level crossings. The project locations comprise LC No. 40 at KM 1283/5-6 on the Gwalior–Bhind section, LC No. 398 at KM 1188/12-14 on the Jhansi–Gwalior section and LC No. 315 at KM 993/30-32 on the Jhansi–Bina section of North Central Railway. The work is to be executed under the joint venture arrangement.

The formal LOA carries a completion timeline of 18 months from the date of award and is subject to the General Conditions of Contract 2022, Railway Board guidelines, the Contract and Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act 1970 and the GST Act 2017. The order has been classified as a domestic contract and was awarded by the Jhansi Division Gati Shakti unit. The company has indicated that the order does not constitute a related party transaction and that promoters have no interest in the awarding entity.

Further particulars include the tender reference DYCEGSUGWL0726 which had a closing date of 14-04-2026 and the LOA reference issued on 18 May 2026. The company has notified that the trading window will remain closed for designated persons until 48 hours after this announcement in accordance with its insider trading code and SEBI regulations.
