Concord Secures Rs 846.8 mn Order From Indian Railways

Concord Control Systems Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Advanced Rail Controls Private Limited, has secured an order worth Rs 846.8 million (mn) from Indian Railways for the supply, installation and commissioning of loco wireless control systems. The contract is to be executed over 18 months and forms part of efforts to modernise and automate railway operations.\n\nThe systems are intended to enhance operational efficiency, safety and remote control capabilities, enabling more effective monitoring of locomotive performance. They are expected to support remote diagnostics and faster fault resolution, which can contribute to reduced downtime and improved service reliability. The deployment should also support predictive maintenance and provide data for operations planning.\n\nConcord said the order reflects trust in its technological capabilities and execution strength and that it is committed to delivering high quality solutions to support the modernisation of India's railway infrastructure. The company added the win reinforces its position in the railway electronics and control systems domain.\n\nAs a BSE listed company, Concord is a leading manufacturer of embedded electronic systems and a Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) approved original equipment manufacturer.
