Delhi Metro is set to significantly expand its network with the planned opening of three new corridors under Phase-IV by 2026. This ambitious expansion is aimed at enhancing connectivity across the national capital region, easing commuter travel, and meeting growing demands for efficient public transport.

The upcoming corridors include the Tughlakabad-Aerocity (Line 10), Janakpuri West-RK Ashram (Line 8), and Mukundpur-Maujpur (Line 7) lines. Each corridor is strategically designed to connect major residential, commercial, and industrial hubs, thereby improving accessibility and reducing travel time for thousands of daily commuters.

Phase-IV of the Delhi Metro project is expected to add approximately 61.67 kilometres to the existing metro network and introduce 45 new metro stations. This expansion will not only cater to the increasing population of Delhi but also extend the metro's reach to areas that are currently underserved by public transportation.

The project is progressing with a focus on adhering to stringent timelines and quality standards, ensuring that the new corridors are operational by the stipulated deadline of 2026. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is actively collaborating with various stakeholders, including government bodies and private contractors, to expedite construction while maintaining safety and environmental considerations.
