Delhi Metro awards maintenance contract to Beumer India

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has awarded a comprehensive maintenance contract (CAMC) to BEUMER India for the Baggage and Container Handling System (BHS) across all Airport Line Metro stations. This three-year contract encompasses complete maintenance responsibilities, including manpower management and safety compliance, to ensure smooth operations along DMRC’s Airport Metro Express Line.

The scope of the contract includes extensive maintenance services—ranging from preventive to corrective and breakdown services—ensuring uninterrupted functionality of the BHS. This includes providing labor, materials, software, tools, and regular maintenance in adherence to international standards.

The contract with BEUMER India underscores DMRC's commitment to maintaining efficient and safe operations on the Airport Line. By ensuring seamless BHS functionality and compliance with international safety standards, the contract aims to enhance the passenger experience while paving the way for future expansions of the Airport Metro Express Line.
