Delhi Metro Sets Ridership Record amid DTC Bus Strike

Delhi Metro recorded its highest-ever passenger boardings on September 17, 2026, as disruption caused by the ongoing Delhi Transport Corporation bus strike drove more commuters towards the rail network. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation reported 8,244,903 boardings during the day.
