DMRC launches Hindi version of DMR app

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) took a significant step towards inclusivity and improved digital accessibility by introducing a Hindi version of its Delhi Metro Rail mobile application on Wednesday. This development opens up a range of features for users, including interactive route maps, advanced station search options, real-time calculators for the first and last train timings, and alerts for the next and nearest stations. Until now, the app was only available in English, as stated by DMRC.

The launch of the Hindi version aligns with DMRC's commitment to the Digital India initiative, which aims to enhance government services through electronic means and improved online infrastructure while promoting inclusivity. This move underscores DMRC's dedication to providing world-class digital platforms for metro users in both English and Hindi.

It's worth noting that DMRC's website has already been offering a bilingual platform, catering to users in both English and Hindi. This latest addition in the form of the Hindi mobile app further enhances the convenience and accessibility of Delhi's metro system for a wider audience.
