DMRC Signs MoU With INSEAD To Boost Metro Capacity
The collaboration will combine DMRC's operational experience with INSEAD's expertise in management education to create curricula ranging from short workshops to longer executive modules. Activities are expected to include faculty exchanges, case study development, leadership simulations and blended learning that leverages digital platforms. The programmes will be designed for technical staff, mid-level managers and senior executives to bridge gaps in managerial capability and systems thinking. Customised needs assessments and mentoring will underpin participant development while peer learning networks will support knowledge diffusion across cities.
Implementation will emphasise practical training linked to live projects and performance metrics to ensure transfer of learning into practice. Research partnerships will explore areas such as asset management, customer experience, network resilience and sustainable urban mobility solutions. The parties will also work on policy-oriented outputs to inform decision making at city and national levels. Emphasis will be placed on using data analytics and performance dashboards to monitor outcomes and guide iterative improvements.
The memorandum is intended to foster long term institutional links that support continuous improvement and innovation in metro services. Expected benefits include enhanced operational efficiency, improved safety standards and strengthened leadership pipelines within the sector. Both organisations will review progress periodically and adapt programmes to evolving needs. Periodic reviews will guide scaling decisions and the partnership may be expanded to include other metropolitan operators.
