Finishes Purple Line Work Ahead of Schedule

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) successfully completed planned maintenance work on the Purple Line ahead of schedule on Sunday morning, allowing regular services to resume without delay.

The maintenance took place between Swami Vivekananda Road and Baiyappanahalli metro stations. Although originally scheduled between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., BMRCL engineers concluded the work by 5.55 a.m.

Following successful train testing, metro services commenced as per the regular timetable at 7 a.m., BMRCL confirmed in an official statement.
