GR Infraprojects Wins Rs 23.9 Billion High-Speed Rail Contract

GR Infraprojects Ltd has secured a contract worth Rs 23.9 billion from the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad bullet train project. The contract involves track works, including ballast, track laying, and associated systems for a major section of the corridor.
The high-speed rail line, designed for speeds of up to 320 km/h, is expected to significantly cut travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, boosting connectivity and economic activity in the region.
GR Infraprojects said the award reflects its expertise in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects and reinforces its position in India’s transport construction sector. Work is expected to commence shortly, with completion targeted within the stipulated timeline.
