Haryana has cleared a 64-kilometre corridor of the Namo Bharat Rapid Regional Transit System (Namo Bharat RRTS) that will link several cities within the National Capital Region (NCR). The state cabinet granted approval for the project after receiving requisite clearances and technical assessments, according to a government statement. The move was described as a major step towards decongesting road corridors and enhancing public transport in the region. Stakeholder engagement will be a priority throughout delivery process.

The 64-kilometre corridor will form part of a broader rapid transit network intended to improve connectivity between major urban centres and satellite towns across the NCR. Planners expect the corridor to integrate with existing urban rail and bus systems to provide seamless interchanges and reduce door-to-door travel times for daily commuters. The project design includes elevated and at-grade sections to suit varying urban densities and minimise land acquisition.
