The rapid transit system (RRTS) projects for Delhi-SNB and Delhi-Panipat have received permission from the Haryana government. According to a formal announcement made here on Monday, the Government of India is currently debating whether to sanction these projects. Officials revealed that the Delhi-Gurugram-Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror (SNB)-Alwar RRTS corridor will feature a 107 km long alignment, with 70 km elevated and the remaining 37 km subterranean, during the RRTS conference, which was presided over by Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal today.

There will be 1 at-grade station, 9 elevated stations, and 6 underground stations. There will be a depot at Dharuhera.

The corridor runs for 23 km, 83 km, and 2 km, respectively, through Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan.

The elevated section of the suggested route will be situated in the median of the historic Delhi- Gurugram Road, the Right of Way (ROW) of sector 17 in Gurugram, and NH-40, 48 up to SNB (the Rajasthan state boundary).

The project has received approval from the states of Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan, and the Indian government is currently considering sanctioning it.
