The proposed corridor will span approximately 5 kilometres, connecting LB Nagar with Hayathnagar, and is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion on this busy stretch. The extension will provide a seamless and efficient public transport option for commuters, enhancing the overall transit experience in the city.
HMR officials have been conducting extensive surveys and feasibility studies to ensure the project's viability and effectiveness. The DPR will include detailed plans for the alignment, station locations, estimated costs, and construction timelines. Once finalised, the report will be submitted to the state government for approval and funding.
