The Maharashtra Cabinet has approved Metro Line 13, a 25.03-km corridor that will connect Bhayandar with Dongarpada in Virar through 16 stations. The project is intended to provide an additional public transport link across Mumbai’s northern suburbs, where suburban trains and narrow creek crossings currently handle much of the daily traffic.
