MIC Electronics Limited has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya (DDU) railway division under the East Central Railway Zone for the provision of Electronic Coach Indication Boards (CIB), fare display systems, and additional amenities such as a video wall.
The contract, valued at approximately Rs 111.5 million, involves installation at Platform No. 7 at DDU station, including fare display boards for UTS/PRS counters. The project is scheduled for completion within six months from the date of the order, 2 June 2025.
In addition, MIC Electronics has secured a Rs 60 million order from Indian Railways for the supply of Emergency Lighting Units (ELUs), further strengthening its presence in the railway electronics segment.
The orders were awarded through a domestic tendering process, and none of the company’s promoters or group companies hold any interest in the awarding entity. The contracts do not constitute related party transactions.
These developments reinforce MIC Electronics’ role as a key provider of digital signage and electronics for railway infrastructure, enhancing commuter information systems across major stations.
