Monarch Surveyors Wins Rs 75.1 Million Deal With East Central Railway

Monarch Surveyors has secured a contract worth Rs 75.1 million (Rs 75.1 mn) from East Central Railway. The scope of work covers structural design for new railway lines, doubling, third and fourth line projects, road overbridges, road underbridges, station buildings, foot overbridges, platform shelters and other ancillary structures under the Construction Organisation of East Central Railway in Patna. The award was made by a domestic entity and does not constitute a related party transaction, and the promoter group has no interest in the awarding body.

The project is to be executed over a period of 36 months from the date of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance and is subject to necessary regulatory approvals, with consideration payable in cash. Monarch Surveyors will provide end-to-end consultancy services including survey, design and technical supervision for roads, railways, metros, town planning, geospatial mapping, land acquisition, water, transmission lines and pipelines. The work covers both new alignment projects and capacity enhancement assignments.

The company reported a rise in standalone net profit of 16.1 per cent to Rs 348.3 million (Rs 348.3 mn) on revenue that increased by 10.5 per cent to Rs 1.54 bn in FY25 compared with FY24. The scrip declined 0.24 per cent to end at Rs 188.55 on the BSE. The order adds to the firm's pipeline and is expected to support revenue visibility over the contract period.

The award is likely to strengthen the company's footprint in railway infrastructure consultancy and could prompt further engagements from construction and project management units. Execution will require coordination with the railway construction organisation and timely regulatory clearances, emphasising the need for robust project management and technical supervision. Monarch Surveyors plans to deploy multidisciplinary teams to meet design and delivery timelines.
