Monash, DMRC join hands on metro rail tech Research

Monash University’s Institute of Railway Technology has signed an MoU with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to collaborate on advanced metro railway research and training, as per news reports. The partnership aims to drive innovation in urban transit systems, focusing on efficiency, safety, and workforce competency. With Delhi Metro’s extensive 394-km network, the alliance will support practical applications and long-term sustainability. Monash IRT, Australia’s premier railway research institute, brings experience from over 700 global projects.
