Namma Metro to Build Three of India’s Tallest Stations

Bengaluru is set to house three of India’s tallest metro stations as part of the Namma Metro expansion. The upcoming structures at Jayadeva Junction, Ragigudda and Central Silk Board on the RV Road–Bommasandra corridor are being built with multi-level designs to navigate one of the city’s busiest traffic zones.

Jayadeva Junction, planned as a six-level interchange integrating road, flyover and dual metro corridors, will be among the most complex and elevated stations in the country. The Ragigudda and Central Silk Board stations will also feature high-rise configurations to accommodate grade separators and heavy vehicular movement in the surrounding areas.

The new elevated stations form part of broader efforts to improve mobility across the southern stretch of Bengaluru. Once operational, they are expected to ease congestion, enhance interchange efficiency and support increased ridership across Namma Metro’s expanding network.
