The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has issued a call for proposals to set up, operate and maintain commercial stores at six key stations along the Aqua Line, which serves around 55,000 commuters daily. The stations include Sector 51, 76, 81, 83, Depot and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) office.

These stores will offer essential items like packaged food, beverages, and personal care products, and must follow NMRC’s hygiene, safety and design guidelines. Located under staircases and at concourse and ground levels, the spaces will be developed as temporary structures.

The contract will run for five years, with a possible three-year extension based on performance. Bidders must renovate and equip the spaces at their own cost within 60 days of award. The deadline to submit bids is 15 May.

Stores must avoid using single-use plastics and must not obstruct passenger movement. Licensees must meet all statutory requirements and participate in NMRC promotional activities. Reserve prices range from Rs 280 to Rs 2,400 per square metre per month, depending on the station.

The Aqua Line connects Sector 51 in Noida to Depot station in Greater Noida.
