NSL Wins Rs 722 Million Bengaluru Metro Station Works Contract
The selected stations include Hebbal, Kodigehalli, Jakkur Cross, Yelahanka, Bagalur Cross and Doddajala. The contract was awarded after a competitive bidding process in which six firms participated. Technical bids were opened in September 2025, followed by financial evaluation in January 2026, after which NSL Constructions emerged as the lowest bidder.
NSL Constructions submitted a bid of Rs 722 million, while other bidders included Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Limited at Rs 740 million, Landmark Corporation at Rs 824 million, M R Constructions at Rs 754 million, Premco Rail Engineers at Rs 877 million and SS SS Constructions at Rs 753 million.
The scope of work includes architectural finishing and public health engineering for six elevated stations under Phase 2B of the Bengaluru Metro. The contract has a completion timeline of 485 days. Phase 2B forms part of the Blue Line, an under-construction airport corridor spanning about 37 kilometres and connecting Bengaluru city with Kempegowda International Airport in Devanahalli through 17 stations.
The award of this contract marks a key step in accelerating progress on the airport metro corridor, which is expected to significantly enhance connectivity between Bengaluru and its international airport. The project is also anticipated to strengthen urban mobility, reduce road congestion and support the city’s long-term infrastructure development.
With this win, NSL Constructions further strengthens its presence in urban rail infrastructure, while BMRCL continues to advance the rollout of critical metro infrastructure in Bengaluru’s northern corridor.
