Contemplating that the narrow access road, small entry gate generated inconvenience for commuters moving from Hadapsar railway station, the Pune railway division will relocate the railway quarters at the station.
The road will additionally be widened leading to less traffic congestion.
Speaking about the matter, the Pune divisional railway manager Renu Sharma told the media that the construction work of the Hadapsar railway station is presently underway. They are aware of the passengers’ problems, and as a solution, they will relocate the railway quarters in front of the main entrance gate. There are projects to begin more train operations from there and for that good passenger facility in and around the railway station is essential.
The Hadapsar to Hyderabad is scheduled for departure every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday at 3.30 pm. The same train returns to Hadapsar on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Passengers begin arriving at 2.30 pm or even earlier as they have trouble finding the station which is situated a little inside from the main Mundhwa road. The auto stand outside the station and the railway quarters makes it non-viable for passengers to travel.
