Rahee Group Expands Rail Manufacturing Capacity

Rahee Group has outlined a multi-year investment roadmap to expand its operational footprint and strengthen manufacturing capabilities for India’s growing railway and urban transit sector. The Group is expanding in Odisha with a new Track Component Casting Unit, for which the groundbreaking ceremony was held on 8 April 2026 in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

The Group’s flagship EPC arm, Rahee Infratech Ltd, continues to focus on complex rail infrastructure projects, including track systems, bridges, viaducts and ballastless infrastructure. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Rahee Track Technologies Ltd, is setting up a Rs 2 billion foundry in Odisha to manufacture high-grade cast manganese and specialised steel components.

Rahee Infratech also plans annual capital expenditure of Rs 60–70 crore to strengthen project execution capabilities. Rahul Khaitan said the investments are aimed at scaling capacity, expanding the product portfolio and meeting rising demand for modern railway infrastructure solutions.

With Indian Railways undertaking large-scale modernisation and metro networks expanding across cities, Rahee Group aims to support the demand for advanced track systems. The Group, with a combined turnover of around Rs 1,800 crore, is targeting standalone revenue of Rs 20 billion.
