Rahee Infratech Wins Rs 1.74 Billion Track Deal For Nagpur Metro
The contract was tendered with a completion deadline of 913 days. Technical bids were opened on 1 November 2024, with two firms participating. Technical evaluation was completed on 20 January 2025. Financial bids were opened on 27 January 2025, and the financial evaluation concluded on 20 March 2025. Rahee Infratech was identified as the lowest bidder and formally received the LoA on 25 November.

Rahee Infratech Limited: Rs 1.741 billion
Texmaco Rail and Engineering Limited: Rs 2.174 billion
Scope of Work The contract includes the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of ballasted and ballastless track in the at-grade section of Reach 1A and the elevated viaducts of Reach 2A and Reach 4A of NMRP Phase 2. It covers the supply of 1080-grade HH rails, track fastenings, 1-in-9 R300 ballasted/ballastless turnouts, derailing switches and other miscellaneous works.
Nagpur Metro Phase 2 spans 43.8 kilometres and extends the two existing Phase 1 corridors towards Kanhan in the north, Butibori MIDC in the south, Transport Nagar (Kapsi) in the east and Hingna in the west.
