Rail Line Under Khurda Road-Balangir Project In Odisha Commissioned

The project's newly constructed 10.65-kilometer, broad gauge rail line between Bichhupali and Jhartarbha was dedicated.

The 289km Khurda Road–Balangir rail line project was deemed ready for commissioning after Commissioner Railway Safety (CRS) inspected the new rail line on November 10.

The 115.65km of rail line construction for the entire project is now operational.

For an early completion of the project, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) is building the line from both sides, from Khurda Road and Balangir. “The ECoR is committed to the development of Railway infrastructure in the region and working dedicatedly to complete the project before the target,” a senior railway official said.
