Railways and NCRTC Collaborate on 'One India, One Ticket' Initiative

The Indian Railways and the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at promoting the 'One India, One Ticket' initiative. This project is designed to streamline and unify the ticketing process for seamless travel across various transport modes and regions.

Under this initiative, passengers will benefit from a single ticket system that integrates both rail and metro services, offering a more convenient and efficient travel experience. The collaboration seeks to bridge the gap between different transportation networks, allowing for smoother transitions and better connectivity.

The integration will include the incorporation of NCRTC?s regional rail services with the Indian Railways? broader network, facilitating easier access and booking. This move is expected to enhance travel flexibility, reduce complexities, and support the government's vision of an integrated transport infrastructure.

Both organisations are committed to leveraging technology and infrastructure improvements to support this initiative. The 'One India, One Ticket' system aims to improve passenger satisfaction and promote a more unified and accessible transport network across the country.
