The Union Ministry of Railways approved the introduction and extension of train services connecting Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the South Central Railway announced. The measures regularise the Charlapalli–Narasapur and Narsapur–Tirupati weekly services, extend the Indore Humsafar Express to Charlapalli and increase the frequency of the Kakinada Town Express. The changes are intended to enhance connectivity and regularise previously operated special services.

Train number 17061 Charlapalli–Narasapur Weekly Express will run every Saturday and train number 17062 Narsapur–Charlapalli will operate on Sundays. The first service from Charlapalli will commence on May two, departing at seven fifty p.m. and reaching Narsapur at seven a.m. the next day, calling at major stations including Nalgonda, Guntur and Vijayawada. The return will depart Narsapur at eight p.m. and arrive at Charlapalli at seven fifty a.m.

Services will include two?tier AC (2A), three?tier AC (3A), sleeper and general second class coaches. The ministry regularised train number 17428/17427 Narsapur–Tirupati weekly service, with 17428 operating every Monday and 17427 on Sunday. The Narsapur departure on April 27 is scheduled at three fifty p.m., arriving at Tirupati at three forty a.m., and the return will depart on May three at 10.10 p.m., reaching Narsapur at nine thirty a.m.

The Railway Board approved the extension of train number 20916/20915 Indore–Lingampalli–Indore Humsafar Express to Charlapalli from April 25, with the Indore departure on Saturdays at 11.15 a.m. and the return leaving Charlapalli on Sunday at eight forty five p.m. The board also increased the frequency of train number 12775/12776 Kakinada Town–Lingampalli–Kakinada Town Express from tri?weekly to daily from April 21 and added a stoppage at Samalkot. Officials said the adjustments will streamline operations and improve regular connectivity for commuters.
