RVNL Wins Rs 0.88 Billion Rail CCTV Contract
The order covers the supply, installation and commissioning of IP-based video surveillance systems with four cameras in LHB coaches, in line with RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/TC/106/2025, Version 3.1 or the latest applicable standard. The scope also includes rugged handheld terminal tablets along with 8 TB external solid-state drives.
The contract is valued at Rs 0.88 billion and is to be executed within 10 months from the date of issue of the purchase order.
RVNL is engaged in executing a wide range of railway infrastructure projects, including new railway lines, doubling and gauge conversion works, railway electrification, metro rail projects, workshops, major bridges, cable-stayed bridges and institutional buildings.
On the financial front, RVNL reported a 19.73 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 2.30 billion in the second quarter of FY26, compared with Rs 2.87 billion in the corresponding quarter of FY25. Revenue from operations rose 5.22 per cent year on year to Rs 51.23 billion in Q2 FY26.
The company’s shares ended 0.90 per cent lower at Rs 335.30 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
