RVNL Wins Rs 1.44 Billion Contract For OHE Upgrade

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has announced that it has received a Letter of Acceptance from the Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway for the modernisation and upgrading of the existing overhead equipment (OHE) system.

The contract is valued at Rs 1.44 billion and carries a duration of 18 months. The scope of work includes the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning required to upgrade the existing 1x25kV system to a 2x25kV AT feeding system, along with feeder and earthing works. The project covers the Ramgundam (RDM)–Kazipet (KZJ) section of the Secunderabad Division under South Central Railway.

RVNL executes a broad range of railway infrastructure projects across India, including new line construction, track doubling, gauge conversion, electrification, metro systems, workshops, major and cable-stayed bridges, and institutional buildings.
