Adani Foundation Gets NCVET Nod As National Awarding Body

The National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) has signed an agreement with the Adani Skills and Education Foundation, granting it recognition as an Awarding Body (Standard) with nationwide jurisdiction. The agreement was formalised on 26 November 2025.

The approval authorises the Foundation to award and certify learners for NCVET-approved qualifications in the port logistics sector. This recognition is designed to ensure accountable, high-quality and standardised vocational training delivery across the country.

NCVET stated that this step strengthens industry participation in India’s skills ecosystem. The Adani Skills and Education Foundation’s experience in ports, logistics and infrastructure is expected to help align training standards with industry needs, raise the quality of instruction in line with NCVET guidelines and expand employment opportunities for learners.

NCVET has already approved the Foundation’s first qualification in the port management domain. This marks an important development in meeting workforce requirements in one of India’s most rapidly expanding and strategically significant sectors.

The Council noted that it looks forward to sustained collaboration to enhance the vocational training ecosystem and empower young people with credible skills and nation-wide employment pathways.
