Adani Port Sets New Benchmark in Coastal Cargo Handling

Adani Gangavaram Port has set a new benchmark in coastal cargo handling by loading 61,317 metric tonne in 24 hours onto MV Star Nasia for TANGEDCO. This surpasses its previous record of 57,950 metric tonne set in January.

The milestone highlights the port’s focus on operational efficiency and excellence in cargo handling. The achievement was facilitated by the strategic deployment of mobile harbour cranes, E-GSCs, railway infrastructure, and mechanised yards, which significantly boosted productivity.

Ongoing investments in technology and infrastructure have strengthened the port’s ability to maintain safe and efficient operations. Its integrated approach has enabled faster and more reliable coastal cargo movement across the region.

The port management attributed the achievement to the dedicated efforts of the entire team and reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing operational capabilities in support of customer satisfaction and national economic growth.
