Mundra Port anchor one of the world's longest Container Ships

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) announced that its Mundra Port in Gujarat, India, has successfully anchored one of the world's longest container ships. The vessel, named MV MSC Hamburg, boasts an impressive length of 399 meters and a width of 54 meters, equivalent to the dimensions of four football fields, according to APSEZ's statement.
The container ship, built in 2015, arrived at Mundra Port on July 2, 2023. With a carrying capacity of 15,908 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit), MV MSC Hamburg showcases the port's capability to handle large-scale maritime operations, as highlighted by APSEZ.
