RITES Wins Rs 3.73 Billion NIMHANS Project in Bengaluru
According to the company’s stock exchange filing, the project will be executed on a turnkey basis with a total contract value of Rs 3.73 billion, exclusive of GST and inclusive of the PMC fee. The project is scheduled for completion within 36 months.
RITES clarified that the contract was awarded by a domestic entity and that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any direct or indirect interest in NIMHANS. The order does not fall under related party transactions.
The award adds to RITES’ expanding project portfolio in public infrastructure and healthcare facilities, further cementing its reputation as a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.
Separately, RITES recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) to explore collaboration in maritime logistics and multi-modal transport solutions. The partnership aims to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement across global destinations while developing cost-effective and resilient supply chain models suited to RITES’ operational needs.
Both organisations will also engage in knowledge exchange and capacity-building initiatives, focusing on supply chain resilience, digital cargo tracking, and logistics planning for high-value consignments.
Shares of RITES Ltd closed at Rs 247.85, up 0.96 per cent or Rs 2.35, on the BSE on Monday.
