SANY Secures Major Equipment Orders in South America, Thailand
In South America, SANY Marine signed a procurement agreement with Hanseatic Global Terminals to supply 26 units of port equipment for a container terminal. The order includes six quay cranes and 20 rubber-tyred gantry cranes.
The equipment will support cargo-handling operations while improving efficiency, safety and sustainability at the terminal.
Dheeraj Bhatia, CEO, Hanseatic Global Terminals, said the agreement would support the development of a world-class port and help improve operational efficiency.
Zhou Guoyuan, Chairman, SANY Marine, said the agreement represented another milestone in the company's global expansion and reflected its focus on port and logistics equipment solutions.
Separately, SANY Heavy Industry delivered 40 SW970E electric wheel loaders to a major rice mill in Thailand. The machines are designed for demanding operating conditions and offer extended runtime, zero emissions and low-noise operation.
Following the delivery, the customer placed an additional order for 50 SW956E electric wheel loaders. The machines will be deployed for material movement across various stages of rice processing and packaging.
The orders are expected to support the adoption of electric equipment in Thailand's rice processing sector while expanding SANY's presence in Southeast Asia.
SANY said it will continue to expand in international markets with efficient and environmentally responsible equipment designed for industrial and logistics applications.
