Compact Container Systems (CCS), based in Florida, has introduced the SeaFold HC 40', the world's first five-in-one foldable shipping container. This innovative design aims to streamline operations, reduce empty container movements, and significantly lower carbon emissions in the logistics industry.

The SeaFold 40' addresses a critical issue in shipping: over 20% of ISO containers return empty to their ports of origin. By enabling five folded containers to occupy the space of a single standard 40' HC container, the SeaFold 40' offers a 56% reduction in repositioning costs, an 80% decrease in storage requirements, and up to a 70% reduction in carbon emissions.
