Avantel has informed the exchanges that it has secured a purchase order worth Rs 175.5 million, inclusive of taxes. The order was placed by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), one of India’s leading state-owned defence and electronics manufacturers.

According to the company’s filing dated 25 November 2025, the contract involves the supply of communication systems, further strengthening Avantel’s position in the defence communication solutions sector.

The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, confirming that it falls within the Indian market. Avantel will be required to furnish a Performance Bank Guarantee of 5 per cent as part of the standard contractual requirements.

Execution of the order must be completed by March 2026, in line with the purchase schedule. Avantel also clarified that neither its promoters nor its group companies hold any interest in BEL, ensuring that the agreement is not categorised as a related-party transaction.

The company added that the order is part of its normal business operations and will further expand its order book, supporting its continued growth in the domestic defence communications equipment market.
