Axiscades Subsidiary Wins Rs800 mn HAL Order, Shares Lock Up
The order will see Mistral supply electronic hardware for critical subsystems including the Mission Computer and Smart Multifunction Display for the programme and the systems will be manufactured and delivered from the newly commissioned Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Complex facility at the Bangalore Aerospace Park near Kempegowda International Airport. The company said the contract supports the push for indigenisation of avionics systems under the Make in India initiative.
The group said the programme win reflects the continued commitment to defence indigenisation and that the contract positions the group for participation in upcoming defence programmes, according to the release attributed to the Mistral chief executive. Axiscades described itself as a leading end-to-end technology product and solutions provider serving aerospace, defence and ESAI domains and noted long term relationships with defence forces, the Ministry of Defence, defence laboratories and public sector undertakings as well as global original equipment manufacturers.
The company said it is headquartered in Bangalore and operates through subsidiaries and offices in France, Germany, Denmark, the USA and Canada and has a diverse team of over 3,000 professionals working across 17 locations worldwide to reduce programme risk and time to market. It outlined deep domain experience in weapon systems, avionics, radar, electronic warfare, C4I2, drones, anti drone systems, test solutions, ground support equipment and ground handling equipment and added that it has executed several innovative in house projects and partnered solutions for land, naval, aerospace and homeland security applications.
